Elite Football School is a full-time Transition Year programme. Students temporarily transfer from their school for one academic year to focus on football, development, and growth - before returning for 5th Year in their original school.

Elite Football School goes beyond just training at home – we offer an exclusive international trip! Students will travel to the UK or Europe for high-level training, competitive matches, and a chance to experience football at its best.

Football Training
High-intensity, position-specific sessions focused on enhancing technical skills, improving game intelligence, and developing tactical awareness. Training will be tailored to meet the needs of each player and their positional requirements.

Tactical Video Analysis
In-depth video analysis sessions to break down match footage, helping players understand game patterns, refine their decision-making, and learn from both their own performances and those of top-level professionals.

Strength & Conditioning (S&C)
Comprehensive gym training aimed at improving athletic performance, injury prevention, and recovery. Our programme also includes tailored exercises to build strength, agility, endurance, and flexibility.

Education & Qualifications
Academic support in key subjects such as English, Irish, and Maths, delivered by fully qualified secondary school teachers in partnership with Mayfield Community School. This ensures our players maintain a strong educational foundation alongside their sporting commitments.

Football Coaching Education
Structured coach education modules through FAI pathways, allowing players to gain qualifications and insights into coaching, should they wish to pursue coaching roles in the future.

Nutritional Guidance & Cooking
Expert-led nutrition sessions covering healthy eating, meal planning, and cooking workshops to ensure players are fueling their bodies correctly for peak performance.

Sports Psychology & Mental Skills
Workshops and one-on-one sessions with experienced sports psychologists to enhance mental resilience, focus, and performance under pressure. Key areas include stress management, goal-setting, and confidence-building.

Lifeguard Qualification
Achieve a Lifeguard qualification through the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), providing players with an important certification that enhances their skillset and promotes personal safety awareness.

A variety of supplementary workshops and certifications, including leadership development, communication skills, and career planning to help players succeed both on and off the pitch.
